Domaci gi puter (Homemade ghee butter)

Sastojci: 500g margarina (neslan).

Priprema:

1) U serpu staviti margarin isecen na kocke. Kad se ugreje, nakon par minuta (3-4 minuta), smanjiti na nisku (2) ili srednje nisku temperatutu (3) otapati margarin. Ne sme da kljuca i ne smete da mesati uopste.


2) Nakon 20 minuta na povrsini ce se pojaviti (mlecna mast) bela pena koju trebad kasikom da pokupite i bacite. Ne kuvati duze od 30 minuta. Ostaviti da se malo ohladi.

3) Procediti kroz gazu u staklenu teglu.

4) Ostaviti da se stegnete pa cuvati u frizideru.

Ingredients: 500g of margarine (unsalted).

Preparation:

1) Put cubed margarine in a bowl. When it heats up, after a few minutes (3-4 minutes), reduce it to low (2) or medium-low temperature (3) and melt the margarine. It must not boil and you must not stir at all.

2) After 20 minutes, a white foam (milk fat) will appear on the surface, which you should pick up with a spoon and throw away. Do not cook for longer than 30 minutes. Leave to cool a little.

3) Strain through cheesecloth into a glass jar.

4) Leave to harden and store in the refrigerator.
