Kokosovo mleko od sušenog sitno rendanog kokosa (Coconut milk from desiccated coconut)

Sastojci (za oko 400-450 ml mleka): 1 šolja sušenog rendanog kokosa (100 g) (en. desiccated coconut), 2 šolje (480 ml) tople vode (oko 50–60°C).

Priprema:

1. Stavite sušeni kokos u blender.

2. Dodajte toplu vodu i blendajte 2–3 minuta dok smesa ne postane kremasta.

3. Procedite kroz gazu, cediljku ili fino sito u posudu.

4. Iscedite dobro kako biste dobili što više mleka.

Razlika izmedju rendanog kokosa, sušenog sitno rendanog kokosa, kokosovih pahuljica i kokosovog brašna?

Ingredients (for 400-450 ml milk): 1 cup desiccated coconut (100 g), 2 cups (480 ml) warm water (about 50–60°C).

Preparation:

1. Place desiccated coconut in a blender.

2. Add warm water and blend for 2-3 minutes until the mixture becomes creamy.

3. Strain through cheesecloth, strainer or a fine sieve into a bowl.

4. Squeeze well to get as much milk as possible.

5. If you wish, you can use the remaining pulp for cakes, balls or dry it and make coconut flour.

Tips:

- For thick milk, reduce the amount of water to 1–1.5 cups.

- For thinner milk, increase the amount of water.

- Store in the fridge for 2-3 days.

- If you want milk with a richer aroma, you can add a teaspoon of coconut oil when blending.
