Zeleni caj sa citrusima i djumbirom (Green tea with citrus and ginger)

Sastojci (za 1 šolju, 250 ml): 250 ml mlake vode, 1 kesica zelenog čaja ili 1 kašičica listova, 1 tanka kriška limuna, 1 tanka kriška pomorandže, 2 tanka koluta svežeg đumbira, 1 kašičica meda (po želji, dodati kad se čaj malo prohladi) ili agava sirupa ili javorovog sirupa.

Priprema:

1. Zagrej 250 ml vode do 75-80°C – voda ne sme biti ključala jer gubi arome caja i gorči.

2. U šolju stavi kesicu čaja ili listove, kriške limuna, pomorandže i đumbira.

3. Prelij toplom vodom i ostavi da odstoji 3–4 minuta (po ukusu možeš i 2 minuta za blaži čaj).

4. Ukloni kesicu ili procedi listove i kriške.

5. Kada se čaj malo prohladi, dodaj med ili agava sirup ili javorov sirup i lagano promešaj.

Napomena:

- Limun i pomorandža se mogu koristiti u različitim omerima: ako želiš kiseliji čaj, stavi više limuna, ako zelis više aromatičan i blag, više pomorandže.

- Đumbir daje toplinu i laganu pikantnost – ako voliš jači ukus, stavi malo više.

Ingredients (for 1 cup, 250 ml): 250 ml warm water, 1 green tea bag or 1 teaspoon of leaves, 1 thin slice of lemon, 1 thin slice of orange, 2 thin rings of fresh ginger, 1 teaspoon of honey (if desired, add when the tea cools a little) or agave syrup or maple syrup.

Preparation:

1. Heat 250 ml of water to 75-80°C - the water must not be boiling because it loses the aroma of the tea and becomes bitter.

2. Put a tea bag or leaves, slices of lemon, orange and ginger in a cup.

3. Pour warm water over it and let it stand for 3-4 minutes (to your taste you can steep for 2 minutes for a milder tea).

4. Remove the bag or strain the leaves and slices.

5. When the tea has cooled a little, add honey or agave syrup or maple syrup and stir gently.

Note:

- Lemon and orange can be used in different proportions: if you want a more acidic tea, add more lemon, if you want it more aromatic and mild, more orange.

- Ginger gives warmth and a slight spiciness - if you like a stronger taste, add a little more.
