Kukuruz salata (Corn salad)

Sastojci: 1kg kukuruza (moze iz konzerve), 300g sunke, 400ml kisele pavlake, 100-200g majoneza, 300g kackavalja.

Priprema:
1. Obariti kukuruz. Ocediti. Sunku iseckati na kockice. Kackavalj izrendati. Sve izmesati.
2. Dodati pavlaku i majonez i dobro sjediniti.
3. Sipati u cinije i ohladiti.

Mini priča

Ponekad se najbolja jela ne prave po planu, nego spontano, od onoga što se u tom trenutku nađe u kuhinji. Sve krene jednostavno, bez razmišljanja, a na kraju nastane nešto što svi rado jedu. Tada kuhinja postane prostor u kome se ne meri vreme, nego raspoloženje.

Sećam se salata koje su se pravile “od onoga što ima u frižideru”, ali su uvek završavale kao nešto što svi traže još jednom. Kukuruz, sunka, sir i kašika po kašika kisele pavlake i majoneza, sve se spajalo bez velike filozofije, ali sa nekom tihom sigurnošću da će biti dobro.

I možda je baš u tome čar ovakvih salata. Ne traže da budu savršene, samo da se podele. I uvek se, nekako, pojedu prve.

Ingredients: 1kg of corn (can be canned), 300g of ham, 400ml sour cream, 100-200g mayonnaise, 300g yellow cheese (shredded).

Preparation:
1. Boil corn. Drain. Cut ham into small cubes. Add cheese and mix well.
2. Add mayonnaise and sour cream. Combine well.
3. Pour into bowls and refrigerate.

Mini story

Sometimes the best dishes are not made according to plan, but spontaneously, from whatever is in the kitchen at that moment. Everything starts simply, without thinking, and in the end something is created that everyone enjoys eating. Then the kitchen becomes a space where time is not measured, but mood.

I remember salads that were made "from what is in the fridge", but they always ended up as something that everyone asked for again. Corn, ham, yellow cheese and spoonfuls of sour cream and mayonnaise, everything came together without much philosophy, but with a quiet certainty that it would be good.

And perhaps that is precisely the charm of such salads. They do not ask for it to be perfect, just to be shared. And they are always, somehow, eaten first.
