Cips od kackavalja (Yellow cheese chips)

Sastojci (za 1 pleh / 3-4 porcije): 200 g narendanog tvrdog sira (kačkavalj, parmezan, gauda, ementaler), začini - ¼ kašičice mlevenog crnog bibera, ¼ kašičice slatke ili dimljene paprike u prahu, ½ kašičice sušenog origana (ukupno: 1 kašičica začina).

Priprema:

1. Rernu zagrej na 200 °C (392 F).

2. Na pleh stavi papir za pečenje. Na papir stavi male hrpice narendanog sira (veličine oko 1–2 kašičice), ostavljajući razmak između hrpica.

3. Pospi biber, papriku i/ili origano.

4. Peći 5–8 minuta dok sir ne postane zlatno-smeđi i hrskav.

5. Izvadi iz rerne i ostavi 2–3 minuta da se stegnu, pa ih pažljivo odlepi sa papira.

Saveti:

- Ako želiš veće čipsove, stavi više sira po hrpici i razmak veći.

-  Za još hrskavije: možeš dodati par kapi limunovog soka u sir pre pečenja.

 - Za dijabetičare i LCHF: nema ugljenih hidrata.

Čuvanje:

Čips od sira najbolje je jesti isti dan, jer posle može omekšati.

Opis

Čips od sira je super jednostavan i hrskava uzina koji je napravljen samo od sira. Idealno za LCHF i keto ili kao grickalica uz salatu.


Ingredients (for 1 tray / 3-4 servings): 200 g of grated hard yellow cheese (yellow cheese, Parmesan, Gouda, Emmental), spices - ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper, ¼ teaspoon of sweet or smoked paprika powder, ½ teaspoon of dried oregano (total: 1 teaspoon of spices).

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (392 F).

2. Put baking paper on the tray.

Place small piles of grated cheese (about 1-2 teaspoons in size) on the paper, leaving a space between the piles.

3. Sprinkle pepper, paprika and/or oregano.

4. Bake for 5-8 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and crispy.

5. Remove from the oven and leave for 2-3 minutes to harden, then carefully peel them off the paper.

Tips:

- If you want bigger chips, put more cheese per stack and space them wider.

- For even crunchier: you can add a few drops of lemon juice to the cheese before baking.

- For diabetics and LCHF: no carbs.

Storage:

Cheese chips are best eaten the same day, as they can get soft after a while.
