Nacosi su Teks-Meks jelo napravljeno od tortilja čipsa (najčešće kukuruznog) koji se prelivaju rastopljenim sirom ili čili kon keso (en. Chile con queso), uz razne dodatke. Iako potiču iz Meksika, popularizovani su u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama i danas su rasprostranjeni širom sveta.

Najčešće se služe kao užina, predjelo ili glavno jelo, u zavisnosti od količine i dodataka. Mogu biti veoma jednostavni – samo čips i sir – ili bogato obloženi raznim sastojcima.

Tipični dodaci uključuju:

- začinjeno mleveno meso (govedina ili piletina)

- pasulj (crni ili pinto)

- paradajz, paprika, luk, kukuruz, halapenjo papričice 

- salsa, gvakamole, pavlaka za kuvanje ili kisela pavlaka

Karakteristično za nacose je da se sastojci ređaju preko čipsa, a zatim često kratko zapeku, kako bi se sir istopio i povezao ukuse. Postoje brojne varijante: klasični, vegetarijanski, ljuti, „preliveni nacos“, kao i verzije prilagođene lokalnim ukusima.

Nachos are a Tex-Mex dish made from tortilla chips (mostly corn) topped with melted cheese or chile con queso with various toppings. Although they originate from Mexico, they were popularized in the United States of America and today they are spread all over the world.

They are most often served as a snack, appetizer or main course, depending on the quantity and additions. They can be very simple - just chips and cheese - or richly coated with various ingredients.

Typical additions include:

- seasoned minced meat (beef or chicken)

- beans (black or pinto)

- tomato, pepper, onion, corn, jalapeño peppers

- salsa, guacamole, cooking cream or sour cream

Characteristic for nachos is that the ingredients are arranged over the chips, and then often fried or baked for a short time, so that the cheese melts and the flavors combine. There are numerous varieties: classic, vegetarian, spicy, "topped nachos", as well as versions adapted to local tastes.

In modern cuisine, nachos are a symbol of informal eating, popular at parties, sports events and in bars, because they are easy to share and quickly prepared.
