Domaći blagi voćni sok za decu 1–3 godine (Homemade mild fruit juice for children 1-3 years old)

Recept

Osnovna kolicina

Sastojci: 1 kg jabuka, 1 kg krušaka, 1,5 l hladne vode.

- Voće zrelo, slatko, bez oštećenja.

- Ne koristiti kiselo ili nezrelo voće.

Priprema:

1. Jabuke i kruške dobro oprati pod mlazom vode.

2. Oljuštiti voće (preporučljivo za uzrast 1–3 godine). Ukloniti semenke i tvrde delove.

3. Iseći na krupnije komade.

4. Staviti voće u šerpu i preliti sa hladnom vodom. Zagrevati do ključanja, zatim smanjiti temperaturu na nisku (2).

1. Nakon kuvanja i hlađenja, voće stavi u blender i blendaj kratko (10–20 sekundi).

- U frižideru do 48 sati

Za duže čuvanje:

- Sipati u kalupe za led i zamrznuti (do 2 meseca)

Važne napomene za bezbednost

- Bez dodatog šećera, meda ili zaslađivača

- Bez limuna, pomorandže, kore citrusa

- Bez začina (cimet, đumbir, vanila)

- Ne davati nerazblaženo

- Ne davati iz flašice – samo iz čaše

Kada je najbolje davati?

- Između obroka

- Tokom toplijih dana

- 3 do 5 dana

(ako je dobro zatvorena i čista boca)

2) U zamrzivaču

- do 3 meseca

- Stavi sok u sterilisanu staklenu bocu.

Recipe

How to strain and leave the pulp?

Note for children 1-3 years old

How long can apple and pear juice last?

How to keep it fresh for as long as possible?

This is a mildly boiled fruit juice intended for small children, which is always additionally diluted with water.

Basic quantity

Ingredients: 1 kg of apples, 1 kg of pears, 1.5 litre of cold water.

- Ripe, sweet fruit, without damage.

- Do not use sour or unripe fruit.

Preparation:

1. Wash apples and pears well under running water.

2. Peel the fruit (recommended for ages 1–3). Remove seeds and hard parts.

3. Cut into larger pieces.

4. Put the fruit in a pot and cover with cold water. Heat until boiling, then reduce the temperature to low (2).

5. Cook on low heat for 25–30 minutes, until the fruit is completely soft.

6. Remove from the stove and leave to cool.

7. Strain through a thick sieve or cheesecloth without squeezing the pulp* (to keep the juice mild and easy on the stomach).

8. Pour the resulting juice into a clean glass bottle.

Note for juicing

How do you strain without leaving the pulp (so that it is not completely strained)?

If you want the juice to be with the pulp, do this:

Option A (best for leaving pulp)

1. After cooking and cooling, put the fruit in a blender and blend briefly (10-20 seconds).

2. Strain through a sieve, but do not press with a spoon.

- The pulp will remain in the sieve, but it will not be completely "squeezed".

- You just run a spoon lightly over the surface and let it drain by itself.

Option B (no blender)

1. After cooking, mash the fruit with a potato masher (or a fork).

2. Pass through a sieve, but again do not press hard.

- That way, some smaller pieces of pulp will remain in the juice.

Option C (most pulp)

1. Skip straining through a sieve.

2. Just cool and pour into a bottle.

It will be more "mushy", but most of the pulp remains.

Note for children 1-3 years old

If you want the pulp to remain, but without "pieces" that can get stuck, it is best to blend + strain slightly (option A).

- This drink is a ready-made juice, made by boiling fruit in water and straining it.

- It does not need to be further diluted, because it is already mild enough and suitable for small children.

Storage

- In the fridge for up to 48 hours

For longer storage:

- Pour into ice molds and freeze (up to 2 months)

Important safety notes

- No added sugar, honey or sweeteners

- Without lemon, orange, citrus peel

- Without spices (cinnamon, ginger, vanilla)

- Do not give undiluted

- Do not give from a bottle - only from a glass

When is the best time to give?

- Between meals

- During warmer days

- For mild constipation (apple + pear slightly help peristalsis)

How long can apple and pear juice last?

Apple and pear juice according to this recipe (boiled, strained, in a glass bottle) can last:

1) In the fridge

- 3 to 5 days

(if the bottle is well closed and clean)

2) In the freezer

- up to 3 months

(if it is in a suitable freezer container)

How to keep apple and pear juice fresh for as long as possible?

- Put the juice in a sterilized glass bottle.

- Do not refill the bottle with juice that has already been opened.

- Keep it in the lower part of the fridge (not on the door).
