Kako potopiti crni pirinac?
Sastojci: 150 g crnog pirinča.
Priprema:
1. Stavi crni pirinač u cediljku i dobro ga isperi pod mlazom hladne vode dok voda ne postane bistra.
2. Stavi pirinač u činiju i dodaj 3 puta više vode nego što ima pirinča. U ovom primeru 450 ml vode.
➤ Vreme potapanja: najmanje 6–8 sati, idealno preko noći.
Kako skuvati crni pirinač?
1. Na 1 šolju potopljenog i oceđenog crnog pirinča dodaj 2 šolje vode (ili 2½ ako voliš mekši pirinač).
2. Stavi u šerpu i poklopi. Kad provri, smanji temperaturu na nisku (2) ili srednje nisku (3) i kuvaj 30–35 minuta.
Ne mešaj tokom kuvanja — pusti da upije vodu.
3. Kad je kuvanje završeno, skloni sa vatre i ostavi poklopljeno još 10 minuta da zrno "dozri" i postane rastresito.
4. Lagano promešaj viljuškom da se zrna odvoje i po želji dodaj malo maslinovog ili susamovog ulja i prstohvat morske soli.

Do not stir during cooking - let it absorb the water.
3. When the cooking is finished, remove it from the heat and leave it covered for another 10 minutes so that the grain "ripens" and becomes loose.
4. Stir gently with a fork to separate the grains and, if desired, add a little olive oil or sesame oil and a pinch of sea salt.
