Ranch sos americki kremasti sos sa zacinskim biljem (Ranch sauce)

Sastojci (za oko 250 ml): 200 g kisele pavlake, 50 g majoneza, 1 kašičica belog luka u prahu, 1 kašičica crnog luka u prahu, 1 kašičica suvog peršuna, ½ kašičice suvog vlašca, ½ kašičice suve mirođije, ½ kašičice soli, ¼ kašičice bibera, 10 ml soka od limuna.

Priprema:

1. U činiji pomešaj kiselu pavlaku i majonez.

2. Dodaj beli luk u prahu, crni luk u prahu, peršun, vlašac, mirođiju, so i biber.

3. Dodaj sok od limuna i sve dobro sjedini.

4. Pokrij i stavi u frižider na najmanje 30 minuta da se ukusi povežu.

Upotreba:

1. Kao preliv za salate – posebno za zelene salate, salatu od piletine, kupus salatu i salate sa testeninom

2. Kao sos za umakanje – za pomfrit, pečeno povrće ili sirovo povrće i štapiće od testa ili stanglice.

3. Uz meso – odlično ide uz pohovanu ili grilovanu piletinu, pileća krilca, rostiljsko pilece belo meso, pljeskavice i sendviče

4. Kao dodatak tortiljama i rolnicama – daje kremastu teksturu i osvežavajući ukus

5. Kao sos za pečeni krompir – može se preliti preko toplog ili pečenog krompira

6. Kao dodatak picama – često se koristi kao sos za umakanje kore tj. ivice pice ili kao blagi preliv preko pice.

 7. Kao namaz – može zameniti majonez ili druge kremaste soseve u sendvičima i tostovima.

8. Uz slane grickalice:

Ranc sos se najbolje slaže sa slanim grickalicama koje su suve, hrskave ili blago začinjene, jer im daje kremastu i osvežavajuću notu.

Odlično se ide uz:

- Grisine

- Perece

- Tortilja čips

- Slane krekere

- Štapiće od testa

- Štapiće od mešanog brasna sa susamom

- Nacose

- Kokice (posebno blago slane)

- Cips od krompira

- Cips od sargarepe

- Cips od povrća

- Kukuruzni flips

Posebno dobro ide uz:

- Lisnato testo sa sirom ili susamom

- Pita od tune 1 - bela pita od tune sa lisnatim testom

- Pita od tune 2 - crvena pita od tune sa lisnatim testom 

- Mini slane mafine

- Slane koktel pogačice

- Mini pite ili pitice

- Pečene leblebije 

Može i uz (ako voliš kombinaciju kremasto-slano):

- Slani kikiriki

- Pečeni bademi ili indijski orasi

- Sirne kuglice

- Sušene mesne grickalice

- Kuglice od palente i mladog sira 

- Punjene kacamak kuglice 

- Kuglice od krem sira, kikirikija i slanine

Ranc sos se obično služi hladan, jer tada ima najizraženiju aromu i kremastu strukturu. Preporučuje se da nakon pripreme odstoji u frižideru najmanje 30 minuta kako bi se ukusi povezali.

Ingredients (for about 250 ml): 200 g of sour cream, 50 g of mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of dry parsley, ½ teaspoon of dried chives, ½ teaspoon of dried dill, ½ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon of pepper, 10 ml of lemon juice.

Preparation:

1. Mix sour cream and mayonnaise in a bowl.

2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, chives, dill, salt and pepper.

3. Add lemon juice and mix everything well.

4. Cover and put in the fridge for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to combine.

Using:

1. As a salad dressing - especially for green salads, chicken salad, coleslaw and salads with pasta

2. As a dipping sauce – for French fries, roasted vegetables or raw vegetables and dough sticks

3. With meat - goes great with fried or grilled chicken, chicken wings, barbecue chicken white meat, burgers and sandwiches

4. As an addition to tortillas and rolls - it gives a creamy texture and a refreshing taste

5. As a sauce for baked potatoes - it can be poured over warm or baked potatoes

6. As an addition to pizzas - it is often used as a sauce for dipping the crust, i.e. the edges of the pizza, or as a light topping over the pizza. 

7. As a spread - it can replace mayonnaise or other creamy sauces in sandwiches and toasts.

8. With salty snacks:

Ranch sauce goes best with salty snacks that are dry, crunchy or slightly spicy, because it gives them a creamy and refreshing note.

Goes well with:

- Grissini - bread sticks 

- Pretzels

- Tortilla chips

- Salty crackers

- Dough sticks

- Mixed flour sticks with sesame seeds 

- Nachos

- Popcorn (especially slightly salty)

- Potato chips

- Carrots chips

- Vegetable chips

- Corn flips

It goes especially well with:

- Puff pastry with cheese or sesame seeds

- Tuna pie 1 - white pie with tuna and puff  pastry 

- Tuna pie 2 - red pie with tuna and puff pastry 

- Mini savory muffins

- Savory cocktail scones

- Mini pies or drinks

- Baked chickpeas

It can also be served with (if you like the creamy-salty combination):

- Salted peanuts

- Roasted almonds or roasted cashews

- Cheese balls

- Dried meat snacks

- Polenta and queso fresco cheese balls

- Stuffed polenta balls

- Cream cheese, peanuts and bacon balls 

Ranch sauce is usually served cold, because then it has the most pronounced aroma and creamy structure. It is recommended to let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes after preparation to allow the flavors to blend.
