Kako pripremiti i skuvati crveni pirinac? (How to prepare and cook red rice?)

Kako potopiti crveni pirinac?

Sastojci: 150 g crvenog pirinca.

Priprema:

1. Stavi crveni pirinač u cediljku i dobro ga isperi pod mlazom hladne vode dok voda ne postane bistra.

2. Stavi pirinač u činiju i dodaj 4 puta više vode nego što ima pirinča.

 ➤ Vreme potapanja: najmanje 2 sata, najbolje 8 sati (za bolje varenje).

Kako skuvati crveni pirinač?

Sastojci: 1 šolju crvenog pirinca (potopljenog I oceđenog), 1 ½ solje vode, 1 kasika maslinovog ulja, prstohvat soli.

Priprema:

1. Na 1 šolju potopljenog i oceđenog crvenog pirinča dodaj 1 ½ solje vode.

2. Stavi u šerpu vodu i pusti da prokljuca. Dodaj crveni pirinac, so i maslinovo ulje. 

3. Kad ponovo provri, smanji temperaturu na nisku (2) ili srednje nisku (3), poklopiti i kuvati 25–30 minuta.

4. Skloniti sa vatre i ostaviti poklopljeno još 10 minuta.

5. Lagano promešati viljuškom da se zrna odvoje.

How to soak red rice?

Ingredients: 150 g of red rice.

Preparation:

1. Put the red rice in a colander and rinse it well under cold water until the water runs clear.

2. Put the rice in a bowl and add 4 times more water than there is rice. 

➤ Soak time: at least 2 hours, preferably 8 hours (for better digestion).

How to cook red rice?

Ingredients: 1 cup of red rice (soaked and drained), 1 tbsp olive oil, pinch of salt.

1. Add 1 ½ cups of water to 1 cup of soaked and drained red rice.

2. Put water in a pot and let it boil. Add the red rice, salt and olive oil.

3. When it boils again, reduce the temperature to low (2) or medium-low (3), cover and cook for 25–30 minutes.

4. Remove from heat and leave covered for another 10 minutes.

5. Stir gently with a fork to separate the grains.
