4. Dodaj odgovarajuće začine po receptu:
A) Žalfija + nana
B) Đumbir + limunovs kora
C) Žalfija + đumbir
Mešanje
Ukusi pastila i dejstvo
1. Žalfija + nana
Dejstvo:
Pomaže kod upale grla, iritacije i kašlja. Osvežava usta i olakšava disanje.
Idealno za:
Grlobolju, blagu upalu ili iritaciju ždrela.
2. Đumbir + limun
Dejstvo:
Đumbir ima blago protivupalno dejstvo i zagreva, limun osvežava i daje vitamin C.
Idealno za:
Jačanje imuniteta, osveženje, lagano ublažavanje nelagodnosti u grlu.
Žalfija + đumbir
Dejstvo:
Kombinuje protivupalna svojstva žalfije i blago zagrevanje đumbira.
Opcija 1: mali silikonski kalupi (najbolje).
1. Napravi pastile osnovni recept po receptu.
- oblikuj deblje (npr. 5 mm)
Mekše će se brže topiti u ustima.
Ako želiš tvrđe pastile
dodaj manje vode (samo 3–4 kapi)
suši duže (6–8 sati ili preko noći)
oblikuj tanji sloj (2–3 mm)
Tvrđe su duže “postojane” i sporije se tope.
Base for 10 pastilles.
Ingredients: 60 g of powdered sugar or powdered erythritol, 5–6 drops of water (as needed).
Preparation:
1. Place powdered sugar or powdered erythritol in a container.
2. Add water drop by drop until a thick, sticky paste is obtained.
3. Mix until the mixture becomes homogeneous and suitable for molding.
4. Distribute the mixture in molds or shape it into small lozenges by hand.
5. Let it dry at room temperature until it hardens and gets the right pastille texture.
6. Divide into 3 parts (for 3 tastes). Each part is about 20 g.
Adding flavors
A) Sage + peppermint (for the throat)
Ingredients: 20 g lozenge basic recipe, ¼ teaspoon dried sage (ground), ¼ teaspoon dried mint (ground).
B) Ginger + lemon
Ingredients: 20 g lozenge basic recipe, 1/8 teaspoon ginger powder (or a pinch), 1/8 teaspoon lemon peel (dried, ground).
C) Sage + ginger
Ingredients: 20 g lozenge basic recipe, ¼ teaspoon sage (ground), a pinch of powdered ginger (1/8 teaspoon).
The process of pastille flavoring
Preparation of spices
1. Grind dried plant leaves (sage, mint) or dried peels (lemon) into as fine a powder as possible.
2. Ginger powder is already fine, but you can grind it further if necessary.
Adding to the basic lozenge
3. Take the part of the base that you want to flavor (e.g. 20 g).
4. Add the appropriate spices according to the recipe:
A) Sage + mint
B) Ginger + lemon peel
C) Sage + ginger
Stirring
5. Thoroughly mix the spices into the lozenge until they are evenly distributed. You can use a spoon or a small silicone spatula to avoid lumps.
Shaping
6. Shape small lozenges as desired or spread the mixture into molds*.
7. You can sprinkle the surface with fine sugar so that they do not stick.
Drying
8. Leave at room temperature until the lozenges are completely hardened.
9. Do not stack them until they are dry, so they don't stick.

How to make them in molds (e.g. ice cube mold)?
Option 1: small silicone molds (best).
1. Make lozenges according to the basic recipe.
2. Put a little mass in the mold (not too much, because it expands).
3. Press lightly to fill the bottom.
4. Leave to dry for 6-8 hours (or overnight).
5. Best for: flat and identical lozenges, without cutting.
Option 2: ice cube tray (if you don't have small trays).
An ice cube tray is usually large, but you can use it like this:
1. Make the pastilles according to the basic recipe (20 g).
2. Put only one cube of the mixture in the tray (so that it is not thick).
3. After drying, take it out and cut it into smaller pieces (with a knife).
How to make the pastilles softer or harder?
If you want softer pastilles
- add 1–2 drops more water
- dry for a shorter time (2–3 hours)
- shape it thicker (e.g. 5 mm)
Softer pastilles will melt faster in your mouth.
If you want harder pastilles
- add less water (only 3–4 drops)
- dry for a longer time (6–8 hours or overnight)
- shape it thinner (2–3 mm)
Harder pastilles are "permanent" for a longer time and melt more slowly.
