Vanila kardamom late (Vanilla cardamom latte)

Sastojci (za 1 šolju): 250 ml mleka (mleko od bademaovseno mleko, ili obično), 1 espresso (ili 50 ml jake crne kafe), 1 kašičica meda ili agava sirupa (opciono), ½ kašičice mlevenog kardamoma (ili 2 zrna izgnječena u avanu), ½ kašičice vanila ekstrakta (ili unutrašnjost ¼ mahune vanile).

Priprema:

1. U šerpici zagrej mleko sa kardamomom i vanilom (ne da proključa, već da bude vrelo i mirisno).

Ako koristiš ceo kardamom ili mahunu vanile – procedi mleko nakon zagrevanja.

2. Dodaj u šolju sveže skuvani espresso.

3. Prelij zagrejanim mlekom i po želji napravi penu (ručni mikser, aparat ili mućenjem u zatvorenoj teglici).

4. Zasladiti medom/agavom i nežno promešati.

5. Pospi malo mlevenog kardamoma ili cimeta po vrhu.

6. Možeš dodati i prstohvat morske soli za balans.

Ovaj vanila kardamom late je topao, aromatičan i balansira um i telo – vanila umiruje, a kardamom zagreva i podstiče varenje.


Ingredients (for 1 cup): 250 ml of milk (almond milk, oat milk, or regular), 1 espresso (or 50 ml of strong black coffee), 1 teaspoon of honey or agave syrup (optional), ½ teaspoon of ground cardamom (or 2 grains crushed in a mortar), ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract (or the inside of a ¼ vanilla bean).

Preparation:

1. Heat the milk with cardamom and vanilla in a coffee pot (do not let it boil, but let it be hot and fragrant).

If you use whole cardamom or vanilla bean - strain the milk after heating.

2. Add freshly brewed espresso to the cup.

3. Pour the warmed milk over it and create foam if desired (hand mixer, machine or by whisking in a closed jar).

4. Sweeten with honey/agave and mix gently.

5. Sprinkle a little ground cardamom or cinnamon on top.

6. You can also add a pinch of sea salt for balance.

This vanilla cardamom latte is warm, aromatic, and balances the mind and body – the vanilla is soothing, and the cardamom is warming and aids digestion.
