Sastojci: 200g oraha
1 L vode, ½ kašičice soli, opciono - 2 kašičice ekstrakta vanile, 2 kašike meda ili agavinog sirupa ili javorovog sirupa ili 4-5 urmi (bez kostica).
Priprema:
1a. Potopite orahe u vodu i ½ kašičice soli 9 do 12 sati. Ocediti. Ponovo isperite i ocedite.

1b. Dodajte orahe u mali lonac i prelijte vodom. Pustite da provri, a zatim pustite da krčka na srednjoj vatri (4) 5-10 minuta da bi orasi omekšali. Procedite i dobro isperite dok voda ne postane bistra.
2. Dodajte orahe u blender sa vodom i sve opcionalne dodatke. Blendajte dok potpuno ne postane glatko.
3. Procedite gazom ili 2-3 puta prođite kroz sitnu mrežicu dok ne ostane malo pulpe.
4. Prebacite u staklene tegle i čuvajte u frižideru do 3 dana.
Ingredients: 200g walnuts
1 L water, ½ tsp salt, optional - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup or maple syrup or 4-5 dates (pitted).
Preparation:
1a. Soak walnuts in water and ½ tsp salt 9 to 12 hours. Drain. Rinse again and drain.
OR
1b. Add the walnuts to a small pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then let simmer over medium heat (4) for 5-10 minutes to allow the walnuts to soften.
Strain and rinse well until the water runs clear.
2. Add walnuts to a blender with the water, and any optional add-ins. Blend until completely smooth.
3. Use a gauze to strain once or run through a fine mesh strainer 2-3 times until little pulp remains.
4. Transfer to glass jars and store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
