Chia jaje (Chia egg)

Jedna od zamena za jaje u vegan receptima.

Sastojci (za jedno jaje): 13g chia semenki, 40ml vode.

Priprema:

1. Stavite chia semenke u manju posudu i dodati vodu. Promesati i ostaviti 15 minuta da se zgusne. Trebao bi biti gelast i gust.

Napomena: nije tacna zamena u svakom receptu jer se ne veže i ne stvrdne se tokom pečenja kao jaje. Ali, slično lanenom jajetu, dobro se koristi u palačinkama, brzom hlebu, projicama, keksima i slicnim receptima.

Ingredients (for one egg): 13g chia seeds, 40ml water.

Preparation:

1. Place the chia seeds in a small container and add water. Stir and leave for 15 minutes to thicken. It should be gel-like and thick.

Note: it is not an exact substitute in every recipe because it does not bind and harden during baking like an egg. But, similar to the flax egg, it is well used in pancakes, quick bread, muffins, biscuits and similar recipes.
