Sastojci: 1 krastavac (delimično oljušten, na strafte), ½ kašičice nejodirane soli, 2 do 3 čena belog luka, oljuštena (sitno rendana ili mlevena), 1 ¼ kašičice belog sirćeta, 1 ¼ kašike ekstra devičanskog maslinovog ulja, 500 ml grčkog jogurta (običnog), šaka seckane sveže mirođije, ¼ kašičice mlevenog belog bibera.
Priprema:
1. Sitno izrendajte krastavac.
2. Dodajte so i promešajte.
3. Stavite krastavac u gazu i iscedite.
4. U činiju stavite beli luk, belo sirće i ekstra devičansko maslinovo ulje. Promešajte da se sjedini.
5. Dodajte krastavac u činiju i promešajte.
6. Dodajte jogurt, biber i mirođiju. Dobro promešajte da se sjedini.
7. Pokrijte i stavite u frižider na 2 sata.
8. Pre serviranja poprskati sa još ekstra devičanskog maslinovog ulja.
9. Čuvajte grčki caciki sos u frižideru u dobro zatvorenoj staklenoj posudi 3 dana.
Poslužite sa omiljenim povrćem, krekerima, perecima, čipsom ili pita hlebom.
Ingredients: 1 cucumber (partially peeled), ½ tsp non iodized salt, 2 to 3 garlic cloves, peeled (finely grated or minced), 1 ¼ tsp white vinegar, 1 ¼ tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 500 ml Greek yogurt (plain), handful of chopped fresh dill, ¼ tsp ground white pepper.
Preparation:
1. Grate finely cucumber.
2. Add salt and stir.
3. Place the cucumber into a cheesecloth and squeeze dry.
4. In a bowl, place the garlic, white vinegar, and extra virgin olive oil. Mix to combine.
5. Add the cucumber to the bowl and mix.
6. Add yogurt, pepper, and dill. Stir to combine well.
7. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
8. Drizzle with more extra virgin olive oil before serving.
9. Store Greek tzatziki sauce in the fridge in a tightly covered glass container for 3 days.
Serve with your favorite veggies, crackers, pretzels, chips or pita bread.
