Sastojci (za 2–3 porcije): 2 srednja paradajza (250 g), 1 srednji krastavac (150 g), 100 g belog sira (mladi sir ili stari beli sir), 120 ml kiselog mleka, ½ čena belog luka (sitno iseckanog ili izgnječenog), ¼ kašičice soli, prstohvat sveže mlevenog crnog bibera, sveže začinsko bilje (2 kašike sitno seckanog npr. 1 kašika lista peršuna + 1 kašika vlasca ili 1 kašika lista peršuna + 1 kašičica mirođije).
Priprema:
1. Paradajz i krastavac operi i iseci na kockice ili kolutove.
2. Beli sir iseckaj ili izmrvi.
3. Beli luk sitno iseckaj ili izgnječi.
4. U činiji pomešaj paradajz, krastavac, beli sir i beli luk.
5. Prelij kiselim mlekom i nežno promešaj da se svi ukusi sjedine.
6. Dodaj so, biber i sveže začinsko bilje po ukusu.
7. Salata može odmah da se posluži, ali je ukus intenzivniji ako odstoji 10–15 minuta u frižideru.
Saveti i benefiti:
- Beli luk daje blagu aromu i poboljšava ukus, a i ima blagotvorna dejstva na imunitet.
- Kiselo mleko i beli sir čine salatu kremastom, a povrće ostaje sveže i hrskavo.
- Idealna je uz ručak, kao predjelo ili dodatak uz pečeno meso i hleb.
Ingredients (for 2–3 servings): 2 medium tomatoes (250 g), 1 medium cucumber (150 g), 100 g of white cheese (queso fresco cheese - young white cheese or old white cheese), 120 ml of yogurt - sour milk, ½ clove of garlic (finely chopped or mashed), ¼ teaspoon of salt, a pinch of freshly ground black pepper, fresh herbs (2 tablespoons of finely chopped e.g. 1 tablespoon parsley leaf + 1 tablespoon of chives or 1 tablespoon of parsley leaf + 1 teaspoon of dill).
Preparation:
1. Wash the tomatoes and cucumber and cut them into cubes or rings.
2. Chop or crumble the white cheese.
3. Finely chop or mash the garlic.
4. Mix tomato, cucumber, white cheese and garlic in a bowl.
5. Pour sour milk and stir gently to combine all the flavors.
6. Add salt, pepper and fresh herbs to taste.
7. The salad can be served immediately, but the taste is more intense if it stays in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
Tips and benefits:
- Garlic gives a mild aroma and improves taste, and also has beneficial effects on immunity.
- Sour milk and white cheese make the salad creamy, and the vegetables remain fresh and crunchy.
