Lime cookies (Keksi sa limetom)

  • 120 g of white wheat flour type 400
  • 60 g of butter (softened)

  • Grated rind of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder (5 g)

1. Preheat the oven to 175 °C (347 °F).

2. Beat the softened butter and powdered sugar until the mixture becomes creamy.

Some biscuits are neutral and easily combined with different creams and fruits, while others have a pronounced taste that goes well with certain ingredients, such as caramel, chocolate, coffee or cinnamon.

Listed below are the most common types of biscuits that can be used for desserts in glasses, along with suggestions on what to pair them with. Information about the origin has also been added.

Types of cookies for desserts in glasses: 

1. Oreo biscuits - crunchy chocolate biscuit with creamy vanilla filling.

  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

Preparation:

1. Mix ground almonds, powdered sugar and a pinch of salt.

2. Add egg whites (unbeaten), almond extract and lemon juice. Combine everything until a thick, sticky mixture is obtained.
