Sastojci: 1 kg brasna, 250g margarina, 500g meda, 6 jaja, 200g indijskih oraha, 400g suvog voca (suve sljive, suve kajsije, suve smokve, suve brusnice, suvo grozdje), 1 kasicica cimeta, 1/2 kasicice karanfilica u prahu, 2 kasicice sode bikarbone.
Priprema:
1) Od 2 jaja odvoijiti belanca i zumanaca. Pomesati brasno, sodu bikarbonu, cimet i karanfilic. Penasto umutiti 2 belanca.
2) U serpici na srednjoj temperaturi (4) otopiti med sa margarinom. Ostaviti da se ohladi.
3) Dodati jaja i promesati. Dodati mesavinu brasna i zamestiti glatko testo.
4) Dodati indijske orahe i suvo voce i dobro promesati.
5) Zagrejati rernu na 180 C.
6) Sipati smesu u pleh oblozen papirom za pecenje. Premazati sa 2 belanceta i peci.
Napomena: nemojte grejati rernu pre nego sto zavrsite sa testom.
Ingredients: 1 kg flour, 250g margarine, 500g honey, 6 eggs, 200g cashews, 400g dried fruits (prunes, dried apricots, dried figs, dried cranberries, raisins), 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp cloves powder , 2 teaspoons of baking soda.
Preparation:
1) Whisk egg whites and egg yolks from 4 eggs. Mix together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and cloves. Beat 2 egg whites.
2) Dissolve the honey with margarine over medium heat (4) in a saucepan. Allow to cool.
3) Add eggs and stir. Add flour mixture and knead smooth dough.
4) Add cashews and dried fruits and mix well.
5) Preheat oven to 180 C.
6) Place the mixture into a baking tray lined with baking paper. Smear with two eggs whites and bake
Note: do not preheat oven before ypu are finished with the dough.
