Sastojci (za 2 porcije):
za ribu: 2 fileta bele ribe (oslić, bakalar ili tilapija, oko 150–200 g po filetu), 1 kašika maslinovog ulja, 1 kašičica mlevene ljute paprike (ili sitno seckan skoc Bonet ili habanero), ½ kašičice suve majčine dušice, ¼ kašičice mlevenog crnog bibera, ¼ kašičice mlevenog muskatnog oraha, ¼ kašičice cimeta, 1 čen belog luka (sitno seckan), 1 kašika soja sosa ili zamene za soja sos, 1 kašika soka od limete ili limuna, prstohvat soli;
za sendvič: 2 briosa ili drugog mekanog hleba, par listova sveže salate, par kriški paradajza, kriška luka po želji, malo majoneza, jogurta ili veganskog krem sosa po izboru.*
Priprema:
1. U posudi pomešaj maslinovo ulje, ljutu papriku, majčinu dušicu, biber, muskatni orah, cimet, beli luk, soja sos ili zamenilu za soja sos, sok od limete ili sok od limuna i so.
2. Filete ribe premaži marinadom i ostavi 30 minuta, najmanje.
3. Ribu peci na tiganju ili grilu 3–5 minuta sa svake strane, dok ne bude sočna i prženja iznutra.
4. Hleb lagano prepeci.
5. Na donju polovinu briosa stavi listove salate, zatim ribu, paradajz, luk i sos po izboru. Poklopi gornjom polovinom briosa ili hleba.
6. Posluži odmah dok je riba topla i sočna.

Ingredients (for 2 servings):
for fish: 2 fillets of white fish (hake, cod or tilapia, about 150-200 g per fillet), 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of ground hot pepper (or finely chopped Scotch Bonnet or habanero), ½ teaspoon of dried thyme, ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper, ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg, ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 clove of garlic (small chopped), 1 tablespoon of soy sauce or substitute for soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of lime or lemon juice, a pinch of salt;
for a sandwich: 2 brioche or other soft bread, a few leaves of fresh lettuce, a few slices of tomato, a slice of onion if desired, a little mayonnaise, buttermilk or yogurt or vegan cream sauce of your choice.*.
Preparation:
1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, hot pepper, thyme, pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon, garlic, soy sauce or soy sauce substitute, lime juice or lemon juice and salt.
2. Coat the fish fillets with the marinade and leave for at least 30 minutes.
3. Fry the fish in a pan or grill for 3–5 minutes on each side, until juicy and fried inside.
4. Lightly toast the bread.
5. Place lettuce leaves on the bottom half of the brioche, then fish, tomato, onion and sauce of your choice. Cover with the top half of the brioche or bread.
6. Serve immediately while the fish is warm and juicy.
