Sastojci (za 1 šolju / 250 ml): 1 kesica zelenog čaja ili 1 kašičica suvih listova, 1 tanka kriška limuna, 1 tanka kriška pomorandže, 1 tanka kriška grejpa (može i crveni ili roze za slađu notu), 2 tanke kriške svežeg korena đumbira, 1 kašičica meda (po želji, dodati kad se čaj malo prohladi).
Priprema:
1. Zagrej 250 ml vode do oko 80°C.
2. U šolju stavi čaj, kriške limuna, pomorandže, grejpa i đumbira.
3. Prelij toplom vodom, poklopi i ostavi da odstoji 3–4 minuta (ili kraće za blaži ukus).
4. Ukloni kesicu ili procedi listove i kriške.
5. Kada se čaj malo prohladi, dodaj med i lagano promešaj.
Saveti:
- Za jaču pikantnost, ostavi đumbir da odstoji 5 minuta ili dodaj još jednu tanku krišku.
- Ovaj čaj je odličan i topao i hladan – možeš ga ohladiti i napraviti osvežavajući “ledeni citrusni zeleni caj”.
Ingredients (for 1 cup / 250 ml): 1 green tea bag or 1 teaspoon of dry leaves, 1 thin slice of lemon, 1 thin slice of orange, 1 thin slice of grapefruit (you can also use red or pink for a sweeter note), 2 thin slices of fresh ginger root, 1 teaspoon of honey (optional, add when the tea cools down a bit).
Preparation:
1. Heat 250 ml of water to about 80°C.
2. Put tea, slices of lemon, orange, grapefruit and ginger in a cup.
3. Pour hot water over it, cover and let it stand for 3-4 minutes (or shorter for a milder taste).
4. Remove the bag or strain the leaves and slices.
5. When the tea has cooled a little, add honey and stir gently.
Tips:
- For a stronger spiciness, let the ginger rest for 5 minutes or add another thin slice.
- This tea is excellent both hot and cold - you can cool it and make a refreshing "iced citrus green tea".
