Sastojci: 1½ šolje integralnog pšeničnog brašna, ½ šolje psenicnog belog brašna, 5 g praška za pecivo, ½ kašičice soli, 2 kašike hladnog margarina ili putera (neslanog) ili gi putera, 1 šolja mleka sa niskim sadržajem masti.
Priprema:
0. Isecite margarin na kockice i stavite u frižider, vece pre priprema.
1. U činiji pomešajte integralno pšenično brašno, psenicno belo brašno, prašak za pecivo i so.
2. Dodajte puter i mešajte dok smesa ne postane krupno mrvicasto.
3. Viljuškom brzo dodajte mleko.
4. Prebacite testo na pobrašnjen sto i mesite 6 do 8 puta ili samo dok se testo ne sjedini.
5. Razvaljajte na debljinu od 2 cm. Koristeći okruglu modlu za kekse prečnika 5 cm, isecite na 12 krugova ili nožem isecite na 12 kvadrata.
Ponovo razvaljajte ostatke testa, ako koristite modlu za kekse.
6. Postavite kolačiće na rastojanju od najmanje 2,5 cm na pripremljen, blago podmazan pleh za pečenje.
7. Zagrejte rernu na 220°C (425°F).
8. Pecite u rerni 12 do 15 minuta ili dok blago ne porumeni.
9. Prebacite na rešetku i ostavite da se malo ohladi pre serviranja.
Ingredients: 1½ cups whole wheat flour, ½ cup all-purpose flour, 5 g baking powder, ½ tsp salt, 2 tbsp cold margarine or butter (unsalted) or ghee butter, 1 cup low fat milk.
Preparation:
0. Cut margarine into cubes and put in a fridge, the night before preparation.
1. In a bowl, combine whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, baking powder and salt.
2. Add butter and stir until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3. Using a fork, quickly stir in milk.
4. Transfer dough to a floured table and knead for 6 to 8 times or just until dough holds together.
5. Roll out to 2 cm thick. Using a 5 cm round cookie cutter, cut into 12 circles or use a knife to cut into 12 squares.
Re-rolling scraps, if using a cookie cutter.
6. Place cookies at least 2.5 cm apart on a prepared, lightly greased, baking sheet.
7. Preheat the oven to 220 C (425 F).
8. Bake in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
9. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool slightly before serving.
