Za koga nisu dobri sojini proizvodi? (Who are soy products not good for?)

4. Osobe sa određenim hormonski osetljivim stanjima

- Soja sadrži fitoestrogene (biljne estrogen-like supstance).

5. Bebe i vrlo mala deca (bez nadzora pedijatra)

- bebe bez medicinskog saveta

Soy products such as flakes, granules, chunks and soy steaks - soy medallions are generally good sources of plant protein and are often used in vegetarian or vegan diets. However, there are groups of people for whom these products are not recommended or should be avoided or reduced:

1. People with soy allergy

- If you have a soy allergy, these products are not safe. Allergies can cause problems such as rash, itching, swelling, nausea or even more serious reactions. In this case, soy must be completely avoided.

2. People with soy intolerance or digestive disorders

- Some people have an intolerance to soy products and may experience gas, bloating, stomach pain or other digestive problems after consumption.

3. People with hypothyroidism (reduced thyroid gland function)

- Soy contains substances that can slightly affect iodine absorption and thyroid hormone metabolism, especially if iodine intake is low. If you have problems with the thyroid gland, be sure to consult your doctor before soy becomes a large part of your diet.

4. People with certain hormonally sensitive conditions

- Soy contains phytoestrogens (plant estrogen-like substances). Most studies say that moderate intake is safe, but if you have specific hormonal conditions, it is best to consult a health professional about the amount that is right for you.

5. Babies and very young children (without pediatrician supervision)

- For infants or very young children, special formulas are chosen according to the pediatrician's recommendation; soy is not something that should be introduced on its own initiative without expert advice.

In short — soy is not good for:

- people with soy allergy

- people with intolerance or digestive disorders after soy

- people with thyroid problems (with the advice of a doctor)

- people with specific hormonal health conditions (on doctor's recommendation)

- babies without medical advice
