Kuvani djevreci peceni u rerni (Cooked bagels baked in the oven)

Sastojci: 1 kg brasna,  250 ml mleka (mlakog), 250 ml vode (mlake), 20g svezeg kvasca, 65ml ulja, 1 kasicica soli, 1 kasika secera; za kuvanje djevreka: 2 L vode, 2 kasicice sode bikarbone, 1 kasicice soli; za posipanje: susam, laneno seme, mak, kim, semenke bundeve, semenke sunckoreta.

Priprema: 

1) U ciniju sipati 600g brasna i na sredini napraviti rupu. U tu rupu izmrviti kvasac. Preko kvasca sipati mleko, vodu, ulje, secer i so.

2) Zamesiti testo uz povremeno dodavanje ostatka brasna. Testo ce biti meko i elasticno.

3) Podeliti na 12 loptica. svaku namazati sa malo ulja i pokriti providnom folijom. Ostaviti da stoji 15 minuta.

4) Svaku lopticu podeliti na 2 dela. Od svakog dela oblikovati valjak debljine oko 1 cm. Spajati po dva valjka u djevrek. Ili, Od svake loptice (12 komada), oblikovati duzi valjak, debljine oko 1 cm, pa formirati djevrek.

5) Pleh obloziti papirom za pecenje.

6) U serpu sipati vodu, sodu bikarbonu i so. Pustiti da prokljuca. Staviti djevrek. Nakon 60 sekundi resetkastom kasikom izvaditi i staviti u pleh. Ponoviti postupak za ostale djevreke.

7) Svaki djevrek posuti ili susamom ili lanenim semenom ili kimom ili semenkama suncokreta ili bundeve. 

8) Peci u prethodno zagrejanoj rerni na 200 C oko 15 minuta.

Predlog: ako ne zelite da pecete djevreke u rerni, mozete, nakon sto ih spustite u kljucalu vodu da sacekate da isplivaju na povrsinu. Tada su gotovi.

Ingredients: 1 kg flour, 250 ml milk (lukewarm), 250 ml water (lukewarm), 20 g fresh yeast, 65 ml oil, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon sugar; for cooking bagels: 2 L of water, 2 teaspoons of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of salt; for sprinkling: sesame seeds, flaxseed, poppy seeds, cumin, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds.

Preparation:
1) Pour 600g of flour into a bowl and make a hole in the middle. Crumble the yeast in that hole. Pour milk, water, oil, sugar and salt over the yeast.
2) Knead the dough with the occasional addition of the rest of the flour. The dough will be soft and elastic.
3) Divide into 12 balls. grease each with a little oil and cover with plastic wrap. Leave to stand for 15 minutes.
4) Divide each ball into 2 parts. From each part, form a roller about 1 cm thick. Connect two rollers in a bagel. Or, from each ball (12 pieces), form a longer roller, about 1 cm thick and form a bagel.
5) Line the baking tray with baking paper.
6) Pour water, baking soda and salt into the pot. Let it boil. Put the bagel. After 60 seconds, remove with a slotted spoon and place in a baking tray. Repeat the process for the other bagels.
7) Sprinkle each bagel with either sesame or flaxseed or cumin or sunflower or pumpkin seeds.
8) Bake in a preheated oven at 200 C for about 15 minutes.

Suggestion: if you do not want to bake the bagels in the oven, you can, after lowering them in boiling water, wait for them to float to the surface. Then they are done.
