Banana frape (Banana smoothie)

Sastojci:
4 banane, 1 L jogurta, muskatni orascic, cimet, 3 kasike meda (opciono).

Priprema:
1) Bananu iseckati na 5-6 delova.
2) U blender staviti banane, med i jogurt. Izmiksirati.
3) Sipati u case. Posuti sa muskatnim orascicem i cimetom. Promesati.

U danima kada se sve čini malo prebrzo, postoji nešto umirujuće u jednostavnim stvarima koje se prave bez žurbe. Ne traže mnogo, a daju baš onoliko koliko treba da se trenutak zaustavi.


Banana frape je upravo takav. Par zrelih banana, hladan jogurt i malo meda, sve se spoji u blenderu za nekoliko sekundi, ali ukus ostaje kao da je pravljen sa više pažnje nego što zapravo jeste. Cimet i muskatni orah samo ga dopune, kao tihi završni ton koji ostane još malo u mislima.


I možda je baš u tome njegova lepota. Ništa komplikovano, ništa nametljivo. Samo čaša nečeg poznatog, nežnog i dovoljno mirnog da na trenutak uspori ceo dan.

Ingredients: 4 bananas, 1 L buttermilk, nutmeg, cinnamon, 3 tablespoons honey (optional).

Preparation:
1) Cut banana into 5-6 parts.
2) In the blender put the bananas, honey and yogurt. Blend.
3) Pour into glasses. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon. Stir.

Mini story


On days when everything seems a little too fast, there's something soothing about simple things done without rushing. They don't ask for much, and they give exactly what is needed to stop the moment.


Banana frappe is just like that. A couple of ripe bananas, cold yogurt and a little honey, everything comes together in a blender in a few seconds, but the taste remains as if it was made with more care than it actually is. Cinnamon and nutmeg just round it off, as a quiet final note that lingers a little longer in the mind.


And maybe that's exactly its beauty. Nothing complicated, nothing intrusive. Just a glass of something familiar, gentle and calm enough to slow down the whole day for a moment.
